Hey! My names Ashley Parker and I'm from Cary, IL.  I've been involved with horses in one way or another for going on 10 years now.  I've done everything from eventing to competing on the "A" Circuit with hunter jumpers to western pleasure and gaming. 

I had an 18hh Dutch Warmblood, named Bentley. He was my first horse and I out a lot of work and time into him, and developed into a pretty nice horse.  Eventually,  I progressed to a level he couldn't hold up to, so I had to sell him. As much as I miss him, it was for the best because I had to have surgery the week after I sold him, and couldn't ride again for months.  Bentley is now living with NBA basketball player, Marc Jackson, who is trail riding and doing some light fox-hunting with him!!! He says he loves it!!!  And Bentley is actually going to begin horse showing again on the Florida circuit.  Marc  told me that he's had people offer $65,000 for him! 

I recently purchased a 5 year old APHA mare; registered under the name, The One With Zip (we call her Bindi).  She has great bloodlines (double Zippo Pine Bar bred).  We got her as a massive deal; as the dealer had purchased her to sell as an expensive World Show caliber horse.  But once they picked her up, she had obviously been burned out really young and had a lot of emotional/mental issues.  So we bought her as a project, and she si coming along really well.  She still has breakdowns at times, but those are getting fewer and fewer and far less severe.  She was shown in western and english pleasure... but little Bindi was hiding a secret... MASSIVE jumping ability! She will make an impressive jumper once she gets some miles on her!
